So the attack of the sucky wireless internet connection is back again. No, this time it is not just that. It is the inconsistency the connection is giving. One day the connection will be perfectly fine and the next day, you know it, it won't be the same. It just gives me the nerves sometimes! Oh Gosh. Somebody help!

Okie shut up.

Now let's recap on what happened these past few days. Oh ya. I told Firdaus that I am going to blog today because I thought that the internet connection would be just fine like yesterday. Unfortunately, it wasn't. So ya. I'm typing everything in notepad in the meantime and will publish it tomorrow in school. You can call it weird or crazy or anything you want. But hey, it's my style! You got a problem with that? Then F off. Okie. Let's not be too vulgar.

And Jestyn, this entry comes first okie. The chain thingy, I might consider whether to really do it or not because it is DAMN FREAKING long! Haa.

Yesterday.

I became observant like how Firdaus was! The scene only happened in the MRT because this scene is the one which stands out the most of all yesterday (Monday).

The Mass Rapid Transit or well known as MRT, are built so to provide conveniance and to improve on public's accessibility throughout Singapore. It is open for everyone to use, provided they have the right fee or access to go aboard the MRT (in other words, to have an Ez-link card). However, for it to be more efficient and that danger made minimal, everyone should practice certain type of regulations or the do's and don'ts, be it in the MRT itself or at the platform.

So does public really follow these do's and dont's? Or whether they are too ignorant or don't even have the courtesy to implement it in them? Let's find out with what I observe.

I was in a train from Woodlands towards Jurong East. The time was 6+ pm and it was a Monday (Duh!). So what does that mean? Yes! It's peak hours! Smart kids.

Okie! I know its lame!

In case you all don't know, from Woodlands to Jurong East, there were 7 stops in total. Marsiling, Kranji, Yew Tee, Chua Chu Kang, Bukit Gombak, Bukit Batok and Jurong East. (God, I'm so informative. xD.) I was in the train with Terence.

We boarded the train as per usual. The train was 'heavenly' packed with people of all races and status, ranging from teenagers to businessman/woman and not to forget senior citizens. These are typical seeings you'll see everyday at 6+pm. And as expected, there were no available seats. So we decided to stand beside the doorway, near the pole.

I was surprised to see a man leaning against the pole. You might say 'whats so surprising about that?' Ya. I know. But hey! He is like occupying the whole pole to himself as if the pole is only for him! What about the rest who is standing? How are they gonna support themselves? Furthermore, he is reading the newspapers, slouching and leaning against the pole with his legs stretched out. (HE WAS STANDING!) I'm like oh c'mon! As if the whole MRT is his! Be more curteous can!

I actually just hold the pole where his back was leaning against it. He jerked and just stared at me for a moment. I don't give a damn. =D.

It does not end there. There was a senior citizen, whom i can tell is rather weak because he took a long time to walk into the train. (This part, Terence already alighted.) There was this one seat available. Crowds of people start to flood in the MRT (it's at Chua Chu Kang.) And guess what. There was this chinese man in his early 20s, I think, who rushed for the seat, knowing that the senior citizen was about to go towards it. Worse of all, the seat has a sign on top of it which says 'Please give this seat for someone who needs it more than you do'. I'm like WTF?! How heartless can that man be! Gosh.

I guess no one wanted to give up their seats for the senior citizen, probably the reasons they will give is that they are tired. I'm like oh my God. Hais. I saw the senior citizen standing throughout his journey. Poor thing.

You might think that's bad. There's worse. It was already at Jurong East. And you know, Jurong East is like an ant's tunnel. People everywhere. When the door was about to open, people who are boarding the train immediately tried to flood in the MRT. During that time also, the announcement was saying 'please give way to alighting passengers bla bla'. Does that work?

Nope. It didn't. Boarding passengers were all crowding the doorway leaving the alighting passengers to just alight through a small, narrow, 'pathway'.

This, eventually, leads to a quarrel.

The senior citizen: 'eh can move there little bit anot.' (she swings her arm to the left continuously)
The boarding passenger did respond and move SLIGHTLY (i mean it) to the left.
The senior citizen : ' YOU MOVE LIKE THAT, HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO WALK?!' (add in the hand gestures.)
The boarding passenger, also not happy, moved and said (volume raised a lil' bit): ' THERE. GOT SPACE WHAT.'
The senior citizen replied: 'WALAO EH. YOU CALL THAT GOT SPACE AH' (murmured some words softly)

I immediately rush out from the MRT and walk off. I didn't dare to see what happens next. I was shaking my head at that point of time. Who is wrong in that situation?

So in conclusion, do public really follow these regulations and be curteous? You decide!
