Thursday, June 07, 2007/ 8:43 PM i'm going to blog today! isn't that obvious. -.- anyway. i was frustrated and angry yesterday night after watching the shows i mentioned in the previous entry. you know why? huizhi should know why. when i was watching tv, my 2nd elder bro asked my permission to use my laptop. i agreed because so far, there's nothing wrong happened after he used my laptop. so i continued watching while he uses it. 45 mins later, he told me that he was done, and i nodded my head, eyes still on tv. (the show was still on air as it is a 1 hour show). i presumed that nothing happened. and i was wrong. i was shocked and furious when i found security warnings, alerts, pop-ups and whatever you call them on my laptop! there, stated on my laptop, was risks showing that i have spywares and so-called-viruses on my laptop! tremendous spams and pop-ups showed on my screen, and i mean TREMENDOUS. i told huizhi everything, even the curses, swearings and scoldings of my brother. =x thanks huizhi for being a listening ear. lol. i scanned 3 times using symantec antivirus, which my school asked us to d/l. when symantec is d/l-ed in your laptop, you are NOT suppose to d/l any other anti-spyware or anti-virus system in your laptop. which at the same time, the different pop-ups prompt me to actually d/l their so-called up-to-date and 'advanced' reliable anti-virus system. i was like shut the fuck up! i panicked throughout the night, and asked huizhi for help. though huizhi stated that she was an IT idiot (the word 'idiot' is from her own mouth and i didn't create it anyhow!), i still asked her what to do. lol. pooor huizhi. everything was panicky, palms sweaty and at the same time, my anger was burning. though symantec anti-virus mentioned that my laptop is SAFE, the pop-ups are still there hapily popping-out and prompting me. geeeee. symantec really 'helps'. i decided to go IT helpdesk tmr, which is actually today, so to check and solve this irritating problem, created by my brother! how i wish i can turn back time. the next day, which is today, before going out from home, i suddenly realised that since i cannot turn back time, i can still turn back my laptop system! which is what i immediately did. and guess what! the spywares and pop-ups are all........... gone! *pooof. how elated was i at that point of time. i was like thank you! and thank you huizhi! for taking in all the swearings and curses. wahahahhaa. lol. *evil. enough of that. let's proceed on to what happened today. who: me, small bro, mum, aunt, cousin where: kampong jawa and geylang when: today, afternoon why: shop for hari raya clothes first stop - kampong jawa 1) boutiques and boutiques. for? - raya clothings, perfect colour had to be chosen and suits our liking. 2) drink stall for? - it was freaking humid. 3) another boutique for? - same reason as 1). second stop - geylang 1) coffee shop for? - lunch. chicken rice was damn freaking figer-licking delicious. 2) shops for? - walk around 3) chendol shop for? - LOVE chendol made there 4) murtabak/another coffee shop for? - wait for my cousin to fetch us with his car. third stop - home 1) home for? - rest. damn tired. that's that. and tmr is our class, W35C bbq cum chalet! wohoo. hope to enjoy myself tmr, though im not overnight-ing there. and im shag. nights! |
