Friday, October 27, 2006/ 8:01 PM oh my gosh. it's been a while since i last touch this thingy. the last time i on my computer was like 2 weeks ago? lost. i'm rather busy with studies, alright. not i purposely don't want to update. well, since people have been asking me to update, might as well start here. a short one will do right. hahahaha! fasting month is finally over! wohoo! 1 month full. don't need to repay this year. haha. the feeling was just great. its like you've accomplished something holy or something. yeaps. hari raya was on 24th october which was tuesday. and hari raya's eve was full of lively people cleaning their houses, decorating what they can so to furnish every single spot in the house. and mine was one of them. the whole member of our family didn't slept well ( me and my small brother sneaked into our room to sleep) cleaning and wiping all the dust away. and the result: fantastic. it's clean alright. walls painted light yellow and light green, decorated with flowers, and yellow curtains to go with it, it looks like i'm on a sun. beautiful, malay-looking type of home. now this is what i call home. my room didn't lack any of it as well. haha. 24th october was really one of my can't-wait-to-come day as it was really hari raya. our traditional costumes are worn on this day. this year, ours is gold in colour. more beautiful than last year. but my mum don't agree. *shrugs. anyway, below was our picture with our baju kurung's on.  and this are my cousins. theirs was black. it was nice too. they are sisters btw. not twins. haha.
besides the forgiving and the traditional costumes, there was the food and cookies! *slurp* haha. they are just too delicious larh! rendang, ketupat, lontong, chilli prawn, curry chicken. wahh. and the cookies wmm. ere chocolate chips, pinapple tarts, almond cookies, chocolate cakes. oh my god. my mouth are watering right now. hahaha. yeaps. you should try it. (although sadly, its already the 4th day of raya, so high possibility finish already). haha. oh! and not to forget! green packets!!! $$$$ hahahaa. yeaps. first day got them alright. reached almost 200 bucks. woot. so fun. BUT. yes, but. unfortunately, this year's amount will be lesser than last year's. cos of o's. hmm. sad isn't it. but oh wells. never mind. next year, i can get all the money i want! (evil laugh). hahaha. kidding. i'm also getting older. which also means will not be much money. haha. okay. end of hari raya event. well, now for studies. intensive revision is still going on, which will end shortly. sometimes, i will be nervous thinking about sitting in the examination room, but on the other hand, sometimes, i will be enjoying myself. lol. i know now's not the time to slack but wells. OKAY! be like mrs benjamin. 'do i know you?' haha. lame. yeah. alwin and i are chionging together. not competing with each other however. (crazy!). but just revise and revise until everything's over. i've placed a schedule of our o-level examination in my profiles. so i hope you guys understand why my blog is not updated. well, i just hope i can make it. so far i'm QUITE prepared. (but not for combined humans! =X). despite all these revisions and studying, i still 'counseled' some people. love issues were one of them and the other is being negative; not be able to do it for o's. i won't mention who are these people but well, i just got something to say. good luck and think positively. all the best for the o-levels peeps. currently, all the nice nice shows are broadcasted during this month, which well, distract me at some times. nevertheless, i won't be distracted and does not practice a 'why-work attitude' . lame. yeah. hope this raya month wont disturb me and affect me tremendously. alright. i think i'll stop here. i got to practice emaths. shall continue whenever i'm free (and that will be after o's i guess). haha. do view the schedule and tag! haha. c ya around! ciaox. |
